What exactly was the Glam Slam Ulysses? I know it was some
kind of theatre show with his music. But how exactly did it
come about and did Prince perform the songs live or was it
just some ballet kind of thing with Prince music over the
PA ??

There was a little bit written about it in "Possessed", and even that was kinda sketchy...some kind of multimedia musical theatre thing...all I really grasped from it was that it was a bust.

...it has Carmen in it!

It was a dance performance which incorporated a big video screen. It was a retelling of Homers Odysseus or whatever.

There's some of the footage in the Beautiful Experience TV movie, and there's a bootleg video of one of the shows floating about in various qualities.

It was cool!

Its got Carmen Electra Dancing around, its got the cyclops dude, and he gets the prince symbol stabbed in his eye, and its got the best version of the song "RACE"

I want a clear version of this mix of Race.

i suggest watching "oh brother where are thou" instead. sorry don`t know if i spelled it right. i am talking bout the genuine ulysses adaption by the coen brothers. it`s a terrific movie. you better forget about the glam slam ulysses.
