That was a good read and big laugh.

What an utter asshole Prince was, most of the time in his early star years, my god! ;-D

'The day before we’re going to shoot, I was told, “Paint a room purple and get a bathtub and some candles.”
And the bathtub wrangler had to get three bathtubs, so Prince could choose.
We were finally told that Prince would be in the bathtub naked, then crawl around on the floor.'

Laugh Out Loud funny stuff!
Prince was the Original Gangstah!
The one about the shoe change made me tv

...and THAT took him 35 minutes to re-appear! LOL

You never knew with Prince.

Talking to someone in front of you via notes ffs, or via an assistant. I would kick his tight ass to the moon and back. biggrin

I didn't do anything unusual, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

Sometimes I wonder if Prince had some kind of mental disorder, like autism or something.

I don’t know if he ever went to therapy, or if he relied on scientific help given all his bizarre, deeply held religious beliefs—especially from his time as a jehovah’s witness. But apparently, his (killing) faith allowed him to get heavy pills in illegal ways. Oh well. wink

I am not a docotor. But let's be honest, his behavior towards people he wanted to work with was at least to say extreem and bizarre.

We all know that he was known for being extremely shy and barely speaking.

Then, on stage, the complete oposite, in front of thousands of people, he’d almost take his pants off—you could even see his pubic hair... Bikini briefs? Come on.

How weird is all that? Ok it got all a bit more normal towards the end of his life so to say, but still.

When you read these stories from people who had to work with him, it makes no sense calling himl normal. smile

There was basically not much normal about Prince’s way of interacting with others it seems.

He more than often forced it strongly to whatever whim came up.

You weren’t allowed to look at him, talk to him, or do anything at all.

How is it possible that a shy and timid person like Prince, a small man and a lightweight, ever managed to get this far you might think. Talented? Well it must be. We all adore him.

Was it partly his character? Maybe.

The childhood problems? You always hear that, but it's too easy to put everything on that.

So imho there really must've been something seriously going on inside of his head to behave like that.

The more i hear and read, and find out about Prince, the more it gets strange and weird.

What a guy. Glad i never met him in person. wink I would've kicked his purple tight ass. LOL

Wouldn't be surprised if he had ADHD though I'm hesitant as everyone seems to think they have ADHD these days

Had to be neuro divergent though.

Sheila e isn't black, sorry Sharon oreck. She's got some African genes in her bloodline but that doesn't make her simply black I'm afraid.

Also weird to think he was trying to appeal to grandmas and that's the reason why. Was he really?

Anyone else think this piece ends a bit abruptly with the Janet Jackson quote? It's Ike there's meant to be a second part.

This piece explains why prince never had any videos on the level of mj and Madonna and how he got from directing videos to thinking him directing utcm was a good idea lol

I like all these stories. They make him a real acceptable weird human being.

-

Even The Estate could use this in a smart and humorous way to promote Prince's weird and self build genius.

But no... Instead they just wanna make him look a saint, with little to no promotion.

MacMillions should post each of these stories on his X profile.

And try to feel and promote the humor/human being side Prince.

It's unmistakably a big part of his genius.

How else could he achieved and build his stardom, whilst the entire music industry and those who still care about him, always looked up to him with big admiration.

So many people in the industry wanted to work with him, no matter how fucked up his ways of work seemed.

How about that Londell? Spicer? Can U Relate?
