If you're refering to the track that popped up yesterday on YT, it's not AI because we've had it for over 2 decades, but it's authenticity has been debated for years.

I actually hadn't found that quote before, meaning even I wasn't sure whether it was real or fake, and the W&L bass always intrigued me, as it may have been suggesting Prince was involved in their song.

So thanks for asking because you finally allowed me to get to the bottom of this: NS is considered a very reliable source by the community, so if he said it's fake I'll go with it.

My hope is that when Eric Leeds is out and about promoting his new book he might be able to shed some light on this and hopefully put this one to bed on the record.Please Eric, do tell!

Man this was that sam ecrap that was shared on a.m.p and said to be real. I think even T said it was real but he was most likely joking.
It's full of samples from Lovesong and Are you My Baby so obviously fake and not from '88
