The Prince Store at MSP Airport

First of all, it's a cool place. I especially dig the hand-written notes.

I visited the store this week and also, most recently, the week "Around the World in a Day" deluxe came out.

When I was in there over Thanksgiving I was ready to buy a copy of the "deluxe" Around the World, but they only had the old version; the worker there informed me they only "carried official Warner Brothers" CDs so they didn't have the new version. Pretty odd that they didn't care the new CD, but okay...they only carry "official" stuff, whatever that means.

But, this week I'm in there and they have prominently displayed, Neal Karlen's biography on Prince. Certainly not an "official" product by any stretch, but there it was.

Nothing earth-shattering, just odd...
