John Maus cites Prince I recently discovered a musician called John Maus, he reminds me '80 music I listened when I was dark, anyway, tonight I was watching a interview where he said something like "that's good, when pop music tells people they're gonna die", and after he added "I think like Prince did that sometimes". Ok, it was the weirdest connection between two artist so different in other ways.

I see on his Wikipedia page that he's from Austin, Minnesota. Same state. That's a bit of a stretch, but that's another connection.

. Ah ah, no, "dark" was a kind of aesthetic-cultural movement in '80. "We" dressed with black clothes, gotic reminiscences, listening bands like Current '93, The Cure, Joy Division and similars.

Huh My friends were "dark" without me knowing what it was called lol. My friends also listened to Peter Murphy and the like. I remember staring at my good friend Melinda's David Sylvian album cover and wishing I was into that music. Now I kind of am. thanks for the memories!
