Those who collaborated in the NF documentary perhaps... Obviously there were more stories, as Ezra likes to dig deep, to delve under surfaces. Plus the fact that Prince is not here anymore, gives some people the oportunity to open up. All these elements together... And each and everyone who worked with Prince knew how hard he was, how everyone was on their toes so to say when he was around. It's no secret. - And finaly it was Susan Rogers who told The Estate to pull the plug of the NF doc. By the way, she also had her stories... but she knows how to balance her empathy and was always able to keep the shit from hitting the fan in the media, and with Prince most importantly. She left the Prince camp if I'm not mistaken. Some people didn't, hoping for years for a promised projects etc. [Edited 5/18/26 10:03am] "The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves. How can you be so sure she acuses a whole group of people with this one word? There's a clear context. And we were not there. Plus, you interpret it that way, online, openly. Plus, can you say you were never challenged, on the edge of saying or thinking wrong? I don' dare to say that of myself, although I am not a racist at heart, but, still constantly being challenged. I share an apartment in a block with 12 different nationalities, and i'm gay. Wanna know how it's like to deal with the fights inside yourself, when some religeous driven people treat me like shit, all the time? Don't wanna share the elevator with me, or give me a hand, or want to look at me, or answer a simple question. Im' not even allowed to say 'hello' to their kids. Wanna know how that feels? I can take a lot, but If i have a bad day... believe me, every one of us is challenged. I'm just plain honest here. I certainly don't want to act like a saint. I can't imagine Jill being a racist. That word is so easy to use these days. So when Prince didn't agree with the relatioship between Wendy and Lisa, was he a racist homophobic (too)? (No, he wasn't. Let's say he was confused, fucked up by religion, which he corrected later on in his life. Good!) That word 'racist/racism' is so overly used often in the slightest small contexts, certainly online. And for what? A 'like'? Finding equals to frustrate together against 'others'? I don't know Jill Jones personally, but from communicating with her para-socially (Facebook) she has never appeared in any way racist. It would be fair to characterise her political views as anti-imperialist and anti-Netanyahu (as are many Israeli citizens in fact) and humanist. I think that she has been taken out of context in this discussion on the org and misrepresented.

Exactly, wrong word. Thanks for putting this straight. "The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves. And wiser people so full of doubts." (Bertrand Russell 1872-1972)
