Estate, what a shameful bunch

Did they not realize his 10th passing anniversary was today? Could they not have prepared a release for today?? He gift wrapped the last show of his life...

I've been trying not to be too tough on them b/c of all the great stuff that came out in the 2019-2022 period but, this is incompetence. From a business perspective, totally incompetent. They could have exploited the 10th Anniversary.....

It really is shameful. They could have done so much more.

The Celebration (only for a rich few) and a single song release. They probably think they've done a good job! Idiots.

Releasing Piano & A Microphone 2016 album and video today would have been a chef's kiss; I would bet big money that it would have sold incredibly well. 10th anniversary, online and legacy media running Prince stories for the past few days including today, no other huge release in music or movies at the moment... Perfect timing. Except... not...

Releasing Piano & a Microphone 2016 would have been a no-brainer, but they dropped the ball as usual. Just like they did two years ago when we didn't get anything for Purple Rain except that stupid splatter vinyl.

My last hope is june 7, with some common business sense,

including honest and truthful communication without the previous windy promisses,

with exact dates and full info of what to expect.

-

IF, and only IF they're capable of communicating the right way,

then preferably hire a new spokesperson—

someone who can push the untrustworthy faces of McMillan and Spicer into the background.

They’re both burned and worn out.

Their communication isn’t taken seriously anymore.

And best of all, it could be an insider or a die-hard fan. Hire a true fan for communication, guys.

Start all over.

And provide regular updates.

About what you’re working on, what’s in the pipeline, and what you’re discovering.

We don’t even need to hear or see it right away, just the progress of discoveries in The Vault could spark a lot of interest and generate new excitement.

That way, you can also gauge what’s on people’s minds and what they’re looking forward to.

Make it a goddamn win-win.

And to Spicer and McMillan? PUHLEAZE, politely back off!

-

But my expierience is that people never change.

So why even bother...

Prince fans have been the financial and cultural engine of his career for decades, This relationship is the foundation of the argument that fans should have a voice in his posthumous legacy. You would think the Estate would listen to what the fans have to say. hmmm

Prince had some nice words about his fans supporting him and helped preserve PP
