Youtube is owned by google, one of the biggest promoters of AI on the planet. I do not use google, meta or microsoft on any of my devices. I know I'm probably pissing in the wind, but I think it's important to resist and where possible block the spread of AI for a multitude of well-known reasons.

Well, it seems posting fake stories about real people is OK on YT?

What's pathetic is the comments' section: while I saw many denounce AI on the one vid that made 1M views, if you look at other videos' comments, many people seem to just assume it's all true.

At least those fakes put Prince in a good light. Still, this channel's success says a lot about the mess we're in, when so many people just swallow whatever is thrown at them without ever questioning whether it's real or not...

If you don't educate, or if they're not able to educate themselves... that's what you get i suppose.

Although I have to be honest, sometimes it's hard to see what true or not. But I'll always try to spend time on tyrying to figure out if it's false or true. Which is not so difficult to do.

Not al fakes put Prince in a good light. Some stories are unbelievably stupid and false. Like Prince bying jewelry for Mayte in an exclusive shop.

Much more concerning is that people in the U.S. have to borrow enormous amounts of money to go to college or university... a country where the gap between rich and poor is so vast, so huge... and the (current) administration is only making things worse by focusing on banning books and suppressing intellectuals instead of investing more in education and science.

Prince (and so many other artists too) has sung about all these shortcoming topics, so many times.

I wonder what he would think about AI these days.

His album Artofficial(c)Age was a good title, but didn't get all that deep lyrical wise imo.
