3121 Purple Vinyl

The details say, “Prince’s chart-topping 3121 is back in print for the first time in over a decade!”, with an ‘expected to ship date on or around April 24, 2026’. LP includes two 140-gram purple vinyl.

But wasn’t 3121 issued on purple vinyl in 2019? So 7 years ago, which is less than a decade.

Yeah, discogs certainly denotes 2019.

Although in fairness, it doesn't say that it was back in print on purple. The initial statement is "back in print." Then it describes it as the gatefold, purple for the LP.

This only for collectors that have a purple lit cave, sleeping in Purple Rain sheets, only collecting vinyl that still is in original wrapping, never opened. Something like that. wink

I do not particularly associate purple with this era. Something like orange would work better, imo.
