I like Kares's approach. I doubt that ad hominem attacks on Londell McMillan and Charles Spicer are going to change anything anytime soon.

Call me naive if you want, but it's a cause far too important for me not to try to do what I can, even if it proves to be too little. I still want to be able to look in the mirror and say at least I tried something.
Who cares to join me?

I hear u, Kares but honestly, having known Prince for decades, no way would he co-sign the B.S. going on with this Estate. F*ck Londell and Spicer. They will never make a dime from me.

.
Nobody said that P would approve the current state of affairs. Sadly, he's not here though, so IF we care about his legacy, we'll have to try to be constructive and do what we can. Noone is pressing you to buy P-themed socks or bedsheets – but if there would be vault releases, you wouldn't buy any of those either? Is your priority to fight Londell, or to help share P's legacy?

At this point, I no longer care.

This Estate has destroyed my current connection 2 Prince.

When the music comes out, if it ever does, the Estate wont get a dime of my $.

And you participate in a Prince forum to let us know that you have zero interest in Prince?

With McMillions positioned as the public face of the Estate, everything feels dictated from the top down.

It’s pretty obvious they are not interested in any real, constructive dialogue with the core fanbase.

We’re written off as “the old crowd,” and all their energy and money seems aimed at chasing younger generations.

Except, of course, when Celebration rolls around.

Then suddenly the Vault gets dangled in front of us like a carrot, purely to justify those overpriced tickets.

It’s easy to pin everything on McMillions, but the truth is the entire Estate is a structural disaster. There are simply too many players at the table:

Warner Bros., Sony, Primary Wave, Prince Legacy LLC, plus McMillions and Spicer running operations.

With that many competing interests, it’s no surprise they can’t align on anything meaningful.

I think that the estate may be in for a bit of a rude shock regarding Celebration not of their own making. Many people I have talked to have cancelled travel plans to the United States because they don't want the hassle at the airport or worse.

There are other places to go on Earth which don't want to keep your biometric data for their own purposes for 75 years. Most other places.

Ok I must admit that we never can't get enough of new stuff but come on, since Prince's passing we had some great releases ("1999", "Sign O' The Times", "Diamonds And Pearls" SDE's, the Syracuse concert....). I would love 2 get a "Parade" SDE.

Ask MJ fans what they had since 2009 : "Thriller 40" (including songs already released...the missed opportunity was not releasing "The Lady In My Life" extended version). Am I missing something else ?

Could we perhaps try to skip the comparisons to that other guy, pretty please? I'm so sick and tired of having to hear about him on every Prince-forum.

But capable enough to sneak his way into the Estate. If that is retarded then what are the fans who keep supporting them?

He's been around since 1996 or so. Old dude didn't just sneak in. Prince invited him.

If fans are supporting such clueless people, then they're clueless, too.

Not to be political, but some Prince fans are like registered voters who vote partylines no matter what.

Didn't Prince fire him though?
