Catalog Of All Official Concert Merch?

I've searched and searched but can't find a catalog of all the merch from Prince concerts.

I have seen a few SOTT shirts here and there, but I have no idea about what merch was sold - and I'm dying to know!

Just as we have a log of all songs he's made, all TV appearances, etc

I think it would be great to have a resource like this.

yay / nay?

I'm sure you're not alone in younr desire for the existance such a catalog--or a coffee-table book! I'd contiune to keep an eye on the internet. Your callout here is one great way to spur on those with the resources to help manifest such a resource/product.

I still keep an eye out for items that I'd missed from earlier tour occasions, btw. Ah, memories!

Such a website would probably exist if Prince hadn't started to attack his fans in the mid/late 1990s. Back then tons of talented people were making websites documenting numerous things, and I have no doubt that they would have improved on their skills and come up with all kinds of sites.

.

But taht stopped with the attacks. When the Org gets forced to remove photos of people's tatoos of the symbol, then you know you will get a lot of hassle if you make a site showing photos of T-shirts, because that is all artwork that is owned by Prince.

.

And that is why a fan-friendly band like Nine Inch Nails has tons of excellent fansites, including one that offers tons of audience recordings of concerts. And also this: https://merch.nincatalog.com/ .

.

And now it is too late, because the people who would have done this back when they were still young, cannot be bothered to start up such an endeavour, because the initial work is far too big. Those NIN sites were started decades ago, and thus the people only need to update them once in a while. Plus such updates are easy, because NIN fans will happily contribute. Plus the fans running them won't get hassle from the band.

.

Want a site that collects photos etc. of merch? Start one yourself and ask fans to contribute.

It would be great to have.
Maybe enough people here or through a Facebook group could contribute photos of what they have.

All true, unfortunately. And starting one now won't work either as it would be killed by the Estate for copyright infringement. They just don't have the vision to let something like that fly, even though they would benefit from it too, by having access to old designs that they could reproduce and sell occasionally again.

Fb downgrades quality and it doesn't have sorting, rearranging capabilities, so it's unsuitable for managing collections. Plus it would be easy for the Estate to shut it down.

Even searching through the contents of a group is completely broken on FB. It's honestly amazing how broken FB is; I genuinely do not understand how they made a search that seems to actively work against you.
