What is claimed to be the Diamonds and Love box set (lossless) has leaked widely, with a few versions of songs that are different than the other recent leak. I haven't had a chance to listen to the files yet. Has anyone else been able to compare?

Sadly it's not, the full vault set has 119 tracks (without the remasters of the album, singles and bsides) wioth some duplicates but also alternate versions of those tracks.

You're spot on.

The first "leak" was much closer to the intended SDE release. Might even be correct. That was a 2 CD release. There's no way the Estate would release a 4 CD set plus extras for the Vinyl/Atmos set.

This new version is pretty cool still. I like it. Some of the songs are clearly from bootlegs - which the Estate might have to use too.

There was no SDE set and these are just 60 something vault tracks from various compilations of Diamonds & Love.
Teh full vault set has 119 tracks; some ar eduplicates and some are alternate versions.
The remastered albums (D&P and ) and singles and b-sides and live set were in a different pack that hasn't leaked (yet?)
The Estate could just compile SDE from what was left from Diamonds & Love, like they did for Diamonds and Pearls SDE, but that would again give us a overpriced SDE set that won't sell.

I think they were hoping to add some extra tracks for the standalone SDE, but with no archivist I'm not sure how they'll do it. They should just release what they have, and get on with it!

The 3 treacks missing from D&P SDE should be on there (I Hear Your Voice, Uh-Huh and Willing and Able (12" Extended Remix)
