They showed it at the Paisley Park event Friday. It has live footage from the First Avenue show and graphics from the album cover.

Honestly, the one good video release they did was "Nothing Compares 2 U."

Still like that one very much.

Probably worth keeping in mind that even Prince himself wasn’t good at videos!
Mostly just performing the song with the band, with various stages or backdrops.
He rarely did anything clever of conceptual.
(Kiss and I Wish U Heaven are probably the exception, and they’re still basically him just singing it, just with a good Director!)

I don't like I Wish U Heaven, it looks so dated.

His best videos were the Batman ones. I like When Doves Cry, Diamonds and Pearls, Cream and Musicology as well.

Well, at leasst a small discord server with European fans and some Facebook group got the live video verison of Pop Life ffrom Le Zenith Paris '86.

I don't know why they chose to include purple rain imagery in the video, but it's not terrible. Too much a tribute to 'prince: the deceased icon' and not enough a video representing the song.

Maybe because for some dates on the Parade tour they reused the curtains from the Purple Rain tour wuth the face image.
