Teh Tidal version is brickwalled to shit. I guess they felt inspired by Prince's "remaster" on PR DEluxe.

Is it just me or does this sound like shit? like, needlessly compressed and very shrill. I haven't been as impressed by any of the ATWIAD remasters as everyone else seems to be, but this one in particular sounds rough.

Par for the course with this estate, though.

I have loved every release thus far, found the new remasters of America and Paisley Park to be particularly good....like, as good as what they did with the Sign O The Times remaster...


I have been wanting the extended Pop Life most....can't to listen tonight..

This re-release has the best sounding version of the track, although it's labeled wrong.
It's not Sheila E's remix, but the full version as discussed here.

I got this on record store day awhile back. It’s awesome and play it all the time. The sound is fantastic. Just another reason no need to get the deluxe.
