I had no idea who Mike Scott was. I thought, maybe its the "Scotty, shake something" guy from The Undertaker? But I figured "someone's telling Prince stories" so I oughta listen. Watching the interview, I thought, "who's he? Reverend Scott"? That sounded vaguely familiar. I didn't really keep track of who was in Prince's band after 1996. So, Mike Scott was in the NPG after I stopped paying attention. Okay, cool. I found it interesting that he thought his first paycheck was a lot, because Prince got known for not really paying his bandmembers all too well in the 80s. But Mayte calling him out on it as described in her book must have helped, then. That's nice. Oh, Mike Scott played on The Greatest Romance Ever Sold. Fun story about playing a guitar part for a studio recording and not knowing what song it's for until recognizing it when the album came out.
