Since we're only getting an ATWIAD Expanded/Deluxe, I assume we're not getting a podcast series? Since it wasn't announced, I presume we're not getting a "making of" podcast series. Which sucks, because surely various members of The Revolution can tell stories about the tracks they're involved with. Plus there are the engineers. . Also, there's the artwork. I know the various artists involved have told their stories in the past, but why not get it on the record in an offical podcast? . Moreover, what happened to the work that was put into the podcast for the Purple Rain SDE? While nothing was officially announced, Andrea Swensson seems to have hinted at having put in some work for that. (Laura LiPuma has also said whe was contacted for that SDE, but it is unclear for what. Perhaps to supply HQ artwork from her archives, or perhaps to talk about it?) . Are we even going to get "pre-release teaser singles", considering that everything on the album has already been released previously?

Yes, the story of the album would have been nice to hear about from those involved providing their memories. For example, I got told the original artwork by Doug Henders for the cover was at one point held at Paisley Park - would love for that to be found and put on display, plus for discussions about other music considered for the album or what else it might have been. By the way, already two sort of teasers singles in the 21 minute version of America and the Paisley Park remix. May be there will be more. P.S. I see you are relatively new to the org, going off your profile starting in 2022, but there is already a larger thread on the topic of the Around the World In A Day deluxe release, and its usual to post related ideas on the earlier one [Edited 9/25/25 16:42pm] There may or may not be something coming!

Bart is right. This is about the podcast series we used to get with new releases. No info on that so far indeed. - Probably too expensive for The Estate to pay for interviews with The Revolution members? No word about them, and not even a word from Andrea Swenson on this either. Maybe I should ask her via her instagram page... "The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves. And wiser people so full of doubts."
