I really wish that they would take these events online as well. Lots of us would love to view an ultimate live experience show or a pro-shot Exodus /Gold era performance but don't have the resources or flat-out the ability to travel to Minneapolis to see them. Just saying what we have all been saying since….forever lol

I wonder if it’s the same Gold Experience footage they showed at the Celebration?
They could at least stick a few clips on YouTube, surely!?

That would require them to actually give a shit.

At $85 after all is said and done, that's steep for even those of us who live in the Twin Cities!

Looking forward to seeing you all tonight as Paisley Park After Dark celebrates 30 years of The Gold Album 2728.png
This one’s going to be for the books - featuring hand-selected snippets from Prince’s 1995 Ultimate Live Experience Tour, straight from the vault. 1f3a5.png1f3b6.png

I went to the event. They showed footage from the March 3rd London show, full songs, but not the whole show. I'd say about 20-30 minutes worth. The sound was fine, but the video was nowhere near the quality of the Glam Slam show. They had 6 outfits on dislpay. I was shocked to see the gold Buick Electra 228 on display. So sharp! The rest of the night was DJ in the NPG room. I'm just glad they finally had something going on, other than just tours and Celebration. Hopefully they'll have an ATWIAD release party.

Quality in terms of video or performance?

I'm afraid he/she meant in terms of video-quality (which makes it even more frustrating for a non-probable release of any kind in the future)

I meant in terms of video quality.

Thanks, motherfunka.

About the video quality: it's expected, since we're talking about video, not film. Would you say the quality is good enough for an official release?

Well, they (yeah I know it was the old estate) released the Houston 82 video, which let's be honest is not excellent quality, so I guess that's not the point. The point is that they think these things should be exclusive to people going to PP for a tour or the Celebration... And they seem happy with it.

Yes, it was still good quality, just not the quality of the last 2 releases (W2A & D&P blu-rays).

Cool. I don't expect SD video to look as good as "HD" video (W2A) or film (D&P).
