The "had to be married" rumor just fell apart

The custom Lenox wedding china used at Prince and Mayte's wedding (50 place settings plus serving pieces) had a [B]16 week (four months) delivery time{/B], meaning it had to have been ordered at least that long before the wedding. Steve Parke's writing and Prince's "approved" visible on order sheet.
Of course, anyone who's ever ordered custom china knows that (but tell your conspiracy-minded friends).

Welcome to "the org", laytonian… come bathe with me.

I think he's talking about the assumption that Prince and Mayte "had" to get married because she was pregnant. They were married in February 1996, and she gave birth in October, so she would have been pregnant when they wed. But if they were ordering custom china for the ceremony four months earlier then that would mean the wedding was planned before she conceived. So they were planning on getting married before finding out she was expecting. No shotgun wedding drama.

Or he paid them more to prioritize his order and ship it within a timeframe because he's PRince (happened in almost every business that he used)
In '95 Paradiso canceled a dsold out Dance event on the night when Prince called to play there for example.

But in the book she said the baby was conceived on their wedding night. So she lied.
