THAT I'd like to see!!

Whole show or just a few songs?

.

It's kind of nuts that they obvioulsy spent a lot of time and money remastering concerts, without plans for where to release them, but haven't remastered classic albums yet.

If not mistaken, the whole concert was shown.

To be fair, they did mention streaming concerts on Tubi during the panel, so it's simply wrong to say they don't have any plan (or idea). I'm not defending them, but let's be fair.

Just looking up which show this was... and it's a very bad choice.

This was the opening night, and Michael B told me Prince and the band were unhappy with how it went.

The second night it really kicked off properly.

.

You can kind of see in that clip that Prince is just going through ther motions, like a rehearsal.

.

I still want to see it though!! biggrin

I remember going to these shows & the difference between the Friday & Saturday was discernible in Prince's mood. The press were present for the opening night and it felt like a straight run-through. On the Saturday he seemed happier, joking with the band and interacting with the audience more (you can probably tell this just from listening to the boots of these shows).

Nevertheless, it would still be nice to see the footage!

Tubi that's not available outside the US? Great plan

I never understand why they would choose the opening show. Further in the tour the bands are warmed up to playing and most of the time better and more tight.

That was from Sony's representative. Sony handles the US market, while WB is responsible for the rest of the world.

As evidenced by the show in Miami a few months later. They were an absolute machine by then.
