R.I.P. Pepe.

RIP you were amazing!

I'm surprised that the Prince fam's haven't commented on this sad news.

I'm also surprised that Bizzie linked this from LSA lol

"If You See Me" is the first great Prince record -- Pepe Willie is the reason for this. I've always enjoyed the 94 East Recordings. They put you in a time machine instantly. Thanks Pepe Willie.

.

It's literally one of a few places to report on it. The rest is social media posts from various people like Morris Day and Bobby Z etc. I'm baffled the Star Tribune or other Minneapolis media don't seem to have reported on this.

It worked yesterday, and it worked today from a stationary computer. The only weird thing was that I only got parts of the whole article when I clicked on the link. That was solved by updating the page multiple times.

Another sollution would be to use one of the many 'removepaywall' pages.

Jesse Johnson covered this at Paisley Park for celebration and gave him a big shoutout. It was so good.

"You know, this is funky but I wish he'd play like he used to, old scragglyhead son of a...*smack* OOH!"
