The Gold Experience

Honorable Mention to Chaos and Disorder which is a guilty pleasure of mine.

Chaos and Disorder is a great album, maybe his most underrated.
I would urge everyone to revisit it.

Ditch "Dig U Better Dead" (or place it in the middle, it makes little sense as the closing track, although it's not really the closing track, considering "Had U" was the hidden one), and cut the last two minutes of "I Rock, Therefore I am" (the raggamuffin is up there with the cringiest moments in the whole discography), and you almost have a classic.

Chaos and Disorder and The Truth are very, very enjoyable oddities.

"I'm six feet in the graaaave!"

Quoting Sonny, just when the apocalyptic axe is about to unravel its fury:
Yes Motherfucker Yes!

Even though discovering George's "Mothership Connection" years later
may give you a "Ah-ahhh !" moment, it's a fantastic album, segues and all.

I love Sonny T's singing, just as Morris is enjoyable on The Time albums.
They're far from good singers in the classic sense, but they put their souls in it, and that's what matters.
Besides, it's always a treat having Prince taking the back vocal seat.

Thinking about it, Tora Tora was the last alias, wasn't it?
"Look out Tommy, who told U 2 drive? Now gimm'em keys!"

From the crazy commercial intro to "fuck this disco!",
from the Elvis' exploding TV reference to the Mashed Potatoes girl workin' the fuckin' cash register,
from Cherry going too soon to Shanelle doing some wrong shit,
from the Hallucinatory violin overdosing to the strange readings on the Vanillascope,
it's definitely up there, a rare gem only a happy few got their ears on,
when all odds were against the Purple Ship,
and he (we) was counting the days.

Generation after generation,
The Soul will never die.

yes prince yes

This young man with a talented soul died when he wanted 2
So he shall not B pitied, nor shall the guilty B forgiven
Until they find it in their hearts 2 Right the Wrong
