You'd think that with all the time they had to plan even during the Netflix holdup, they would have at least thrown us one new song along with the announcement. Maybe even a rough outline of what they hope to release this year and next.
Instead, we just get cryptic bullshit and no real communication on what's to come. You know why? Because they don't have a gameplan or any clue what the fuck they're doing. |

I fear that we probably won't hear anything until the celebration but I hope I'm wrong. U are now an official member of the New Power Generation

The new song was the snipet we heard during the announcement. Of course which was an acoustic version of Free from 1999 album. |

That's not a new release, it's a snippet. And frankly, it's one of the least interesting snippets they could have given us

Let's give them an alternate version of the worst song from one of his best albums |

My thoughts exactly!
They could have easily released the full version of Free from their vid.
Instead we got the cryptic BS, which is really getting lame with the #staytuned, we have been staying tuned since they took over in 2022
The only gameplan they have is anything related to PR. |

I don't think it is a coincidence that he re-shared that post. My guess is that there are still some 'bumps in the road' that needs to be taken care of before we can see new releases.

I’ve no idea why Londell’s spreading the idea that the music was being held hostage by the Netflix deal. People in the know have said it’s only some video footage that Netflix had an exclusive agreement for.
But I suppose it effected what could be part of some Super Deluxe Editions.
.
Next step will be agreeing plans with the record companies. Timelines and payments could still be the bumps in the road! [Edited 2/9/25 23:07pm] |

I also think the Estate needed the free access to the videos to be able to make exclusive deals with the DSP. At least, that's what I'm reading between the lines when i read some of Londell's comments on Twitter.
Future will tell if it could right or if it's only about the SDEs... [Edited 2/10/25 9:58am] |

The next step is the disagreement about strategy of releases with PW....PW doesn't care about Vault Legacy ...they have (it seems) other ideas fully opposed to the ones driven by the domain represented by Mc Millan/Spicer ..In other words they don't care about SDE releases & physical ones etc...so the way of freedom can be much longer that what we can think of IMO !! |

I agree. I think it will be a much longer wait than people think I think the earliest we'll get anything substantial we be April 2026. We might get a crumb or two before |
