Adore lyric question

At the very beginning of "Adore" before the chorus he sings something that sounds like: "Baby, don't

you (something something) of Love." It's not on any lyric website. And other's singing it just kind of make a noise like: "Baby, ho hoooooo" or something to that effect.

What (if anything) is he singing?

I just listened to it in super slow speed and it sounded to me like: "Baby, don't you last, oh ho".

I realize that makes no sense and is gibberish, so I'm not arguing that's what he is in fact singing. I'm just saying that's what it sounds like.

The "Baby, don't you..." is clear as day.

What comes after that is harder to discern. Something short that ends with an "st" for sure. Could be "best"

The first suggestion, "Darlin', U'r the best" makes the most sense, but he doesn't appear to be singing that many syllables. In fact, after "baby" I hear only three distinct syllables. At most he could be singing, "Darlin' best", which also doesn't make sense.

Is it possible that he's scatting and, in fact, the words aren't a intended to be a proper sentence / to make sense?
