Lool that's funny, and some Say I look like David Duchovny. I think the TP universe was very unexploited. When I saw the movie I thought" but why didn't they do a movie or a series prequel focused on the FBI agents : Dale Cooper, Lynch, Bowie, Kiefer Sutherland, Miguel Ferrer and even Duchovny before turning into a woman" A little bit too testosteroned as a cast, but that would have been soooo fucking great. Picture these crazy guys chasing supernatural things, with each one their method. That s the very show I wanted to see, in fact the show the World needed.
The real question is, do you look like David Duchovny from The X-Files or David Duchovny from Twin Peaks? The answer to that could change my entire perception of you . I'm just going to assume you're the Mulder version. I would absolutely be down for a Twin Peaks spin-off. I imagine it like as an X-Files type of show where each week Gordon Cole sends out one of his agents to investigate strange goings on in different cities across America. The show would be titled Blue Rose.
X files and Twin Peaks are in the same universe according to some interview with Mark Frost because of references in The Secret Hoistory of Twin Peaks and a connical X Files comic refernced Dale Cooper as being a friend and close colleague of Mulder.

Wasn't this just a joke taken too seriously by some people?

Frost confirmed it at some nerd fest and he said X files influenced his The Secret History of Twin Peaks and said Mulder and Cooper were obviously friends and colleagues and welcomed the idea of a crossover in some form. Teh official X Files comic doubled down on that by referencing Cooper.

The Secret Story of Twinpeaks was basically the plot of the XF Revival (i.e. the Alien were in fact not the Bad guys, they crashed at Roswell to warn us from the danger of the A-Bomb) Chris Carter and Mark Frost had the same idea at the same time, or surely that was the logical output out of their respective mythology, like it or not. Both revivals also lacked of humanity, they are way too cold with their main characters. I envisionned in my mind a sequel for MJ's Moonwalker which is a cross-over between XF and Twinpeaks. Before I had a chance to launch the script to Hollywood, MJ died. |

That would be a hell of a cross-over, a great performance from Duchovny, and one of the best idea since a long Time in the entertainment industry. |

Think this thread has become the most off-topic one I’ve read for a while, so much so I’m waiting for it to maybe bend back to talking about Prince and even the fires in LA at some point 🤷♂️ There may or may not be something coming! |

I very much doubt we'll get any new TV show of either but I'd love to see a crossover novel released at some point. Mulder & Scully investigating an X-File involving the disappearance of a former colleague (Cooper) and they go to the town of Twin Peaks to chat up the locals and get involved in all sorts of crazy shit. I wish I was creative enough to do it myself as a sort of fan-fiction type of thing |

Scully getting jealous because Mulder is spending so much time with Denise |

Of course not. "The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves. And wiser people so full of doubts." (Bertrand Russell 1872-1972) |

She just expressed that (stupid) idea. Nobody ever confirmed that it was actually done.
