We could have had a lot of shit by now if the estate wasn't led by the dumbest dipshits in the industry.

Like I said in another thread, they could release a sort of EP of the Celebration tracks, as a continuation of the Originals idea.

A short edition of incoherent choices (like they do for the Celebration each year), with an online page with some more detailed explanations.

Doesn't even have to be on CD or vinyl, just as (paid) downloads...

(missed chances...)

This wouldn't make any money and sadly that's the only thing they're interested in.

They don't give a shit about the legacy.

Maybe not directly but it would help keep his name out there and stop him from being forgotten about. They could think of it as promotion for the next big project.

I just need Prince's 1986 demo of "Wouldn't You Love To Love Me". That's my favorite song he gave away and is quite possibly my favorite Prince song.

I guarantee we're never going to hear the majority of those Celebration tracks as long as Londell and Charles are in charge. They're keeping as much unreleased music as possible exclusive to Celebration so that people have to shell out big bucks just for the chance to hear something new each year. Pure greed, plain and simple.

Wow. That's a strong statement. I need to listen to it again. What (circulating) versions would you recommend?
