Purple Music / I would die 4 U I was walking this afternoon and singing in my head. I was suddenly aware Purple Music and I would die 4 U have the same rhythm in the first lyrics
-- I'm not a woman, I'm not a man
-- Don't need no reefer, don't need cocaine --
He probably did this before, but I smiled when I recognized it. Love the comparion, also lyric wise, 'I don't need / I am not' in the first sentence and then in the second sentence the ' why'
---------------------
Manic Monday and 1999 are related rhythm wise
-- I was dreamin' when I wrote this
-- Six o'clock already --
do you have other examples?

That's really cool thanks for the eye opener. Someone once said, I can't remember who, that he sang like he played guitar. His vocal lines were like rhythm or lead guitar lines. | |

Not exactly the same thing, but I’ve always thought that Paisley Park is like an evolution of Roadhouse Garden. Same theme but made more trippy. “This is the garden where emotions grow Twenty-four feelings all in a row” “There is a park that is known for the face it attracts Colorful people whose hair on one side is swept back” | |
