As i had never heard this version before i listened to it. TERRIBLE. i continued to listen and sing along with the track. the girl comes into the the room and says "How do u know this song? its my favourite and u dont like mariah". so i told her that it was a cover and that it hasnt got shit on the origional. Later that day i burned her a copy of it onto cd and gave it as a present. i told her to listen closely to the dramatic ending.

She wasnt impressed.

Oh God in London last year he was rolling round on the floor screeching his guts out. It was the undisputed highlight of an awesome performance. I don't know how he does it.

Love this song to bits - When he did it live in Manchester last year it was awesome - To such an extent he dropped the mic and ended up rolling on the stage - He covered up the fact he dropped it so well by rolling around doubt if many noticed it!

In my view this is what I love about prince and emotional rollercoaster of a song.
