What new official (and leaks) have we got so far this year?

Can there be a (more or less chronological order) to see what we have?

Since there was/is no big release this year, let's try to sum it up.

I have no time to fill in all, but we can work together. smile

-

Official ones :

- Silver Tongue (new version May 24, 2024)

- Magnificent (april 26, 2024)

- (...)

Unofficial/leaks :

- Xenophobia (live in studio version recorded by Scott Ferril)

- No Changes (piano demo)

- Keep On Loving U (via DJ Rashida, mixed w A.Baker's piano loop)

- Keep On Loving U (version without A.Baker's piano loop)

- Face 2 Face (super bad quality 23 sec snippet)

- (...)

The CB rehearsal and Evolsidog/Fun/Daddy Pop/And How all started circulating in 2023 (March 2023 for the 4 excerpts). Same for the Face 2 Face/A 1,000 Hugs and Kises/Come/I Wonder snippets (October 2023).

Isn't the "second" version of "Keep On Loving U" a fan-made one?

Note: when I say "circulating", I mean widely circulating (i.e. on YouTube, etc.).

I forgot: Anna Waiting in April 2024, right?

And I haven't kept track of what's new/newish or not on the rehash-fest that is "Blast From the Past 8.0".

either the quality of Magnificent in the 2024 reissue is miles above the old files,
or it is a 'new' mix because I hear things in there I never heard in the other one
and it's my favorite song from the Musicology era.

An unfinished instrumental version with strings has been around for a couple of years. There was also a teaser video snippet of the strings being recorded shared on Twitter, which was probably the last news from the 3EG era before things turned to Hitnrun, Black is the New Black and the Piano & Microphone tour.

MBN came here once and explained that batch of songs he arranged the strings for with STRINGenius that leaked on some BftP were horribly mixed and nothing like what he or Prince intended (= fanmade).

I really don't understand why anyone would hoard all this stuff for themselves. If I ever came across any unreleased songs that I knew nobody else had you can be sure they'd be up on YouTube by the end of the day. Share the wealth and all that.
