(make a list of ) Prince worse 10 songs, for you. Make a list of Prince's worse, you really don't like to hear, 10, in your horrible opinion. Beware, attacking is allowed if you name songs like When Doves Cry or Crystal Ball, etc. But keep it polite, and start the battle. - 1. "7" 2. Musiclogy 3. Sexy MF 4. The Flow 5. Ripopgodazippa 6. The Work Pt.1 7. New Power Generation 8. Blue Light 9. Live 4 Love 10. Gold - Now attack me!

There are probably 10 really bad tracks on the vault discs from the diamonds and pearls box set in my attic that i've never heard. "Whatever skin we're in

It's impossible for me to agree with these ones! IM-POS-SI-BLE! These are STUNNING tracks to my ears. - WWDCAS has such a great warm and even nostalgic vibe, and for me tis could last even longer. Lemon Crush is a crazy little fucker. I actually have a great love for the whole Batman album. All on there is great. Even Arms Of Orion. Life Can Be So Nice... This track's abrupt end hurts me every time. I wish for more. Much much more! The unPrincely wildness of this jam is beyond funky. It always has been a total favourit for me from SOTT, together with Slow Love and Dorothy Parker. The Cross is fine in the context of the whole album. I have to admid, i barely listen to that song alone. W2AIL is a full masterpiece! Period! No arguments against accepted. ) Tick tick Bang (specially the orignal 81 version), and Elephants And Flowers are both so damn fresh. Both GB tracks are the better 'light' fun tracks on that album for me. But I agree, The Flo and Shy... also not my cup of tea. TRC album has overal sjuper good music, only those stupid lyrics fuck it all up for me. I dislike religion when it's exposed in overdose, thus very undigestable. But I never disliked 'Jughead.' I don't understand the hate for it. It's funky, but yet bit too sparse. "The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves. And wiser people so full of doubts." (Bertrand Russell 1872-1972)

Unfortunately I have to agree. I tried them all several times. Never understood what was going on in Prince's head at the time. - I forgot to put the song 'Diamonds & Pearls' in my list. I'm not a Rosie fan; too much, too loud, and too much of the same. Sorry. "The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves. And wiser people so full of doubts." (Bertrand Russell 1872-1972)

Nothing except the first two are really concrete. 1. Hypnoparadise The only song I skipped on my initial listen of a Prince album. Blech 2. Animal Kingdom 3. One Song 4. Props n’ Pounds 5. Silly Game 6. Everybody Loves Me 7. Poom Poom 8. Release It 9. Shy 10. I Like it There Could also list the entire Xpectation album but it’s a whole snoozefest I can’t be bothered to remember

Yuck, the omnipresent "Positive sentiment" take from the Prince community.
This is where the division in fans of "Free" comes in.

And "It" is too gothed out to be considered a relative to "Hot Thing", gimme a break. "Hot Thing" is for the club, "It" is for isolated self-reflections and mental-breakdowns at 2AM. This thread granted insight into why it seems like 95% of the fanbase never seems to really "get" "It" if they take it as yet another generic dance track.

"Mountains" sucks, that's cutting to the core of any potential Worst 10 hot take since you all seem to love it. See "Free" rationale two pegs up.

My list of songs I will skip every single time they come on. I listed in chronological order from 78-96
1. With You – corny and too country sounding 2. Ronnie Talk To Russia – corny and doesn’t fit with the album 3. Life Can Be So Nice – way too repetitive 4. It – Feels swampy and just trudges along 5. 2 Nigs United 4 West Compton – too manic & busy 6. The Arms of Orion – Not very catchy and kind of corny 7. Shake! – Corny and way too repetitive, doesn’t feel very inspired 8. Arrogance – Very lackluster and sounds like a throwaway 9. Right The Wrong- great message and theme but just corny and the music is corny 10. The 3 cover songs on Emancipation – why??? Just why???? Super corny!

I count 5 songs pre-Emancipation that I almost always skip (only counting songs Prince chose to release himself under his own name, in chronological order):
Venus De Milo (instrumental orchestral music taking up the space of another brilliant 1986 Prince song) Lemon Crush (his worst 80's song) Graffiti Bridge (failing where The Arms Of Orion succeeded) We March (so many much better songs could and should have been in it's place) I Rock Therefore I Am (ugly noise)

Unbelievable! Really? These are all favorites of mine, no exception! Even the cheesy "Grafitti Bridge". Why "Do U Lie?"... it's just a genius pop gem. And, "Let's Pretend We're Married"... why? Too long? "The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves. And wiser people so full of doubts." (Bertrand Russell 1872-1972)
