How long did Prince practised meditation you think? These rooms were in Pasiley Park. Just sitting with nothing else. No music making meditation. When did he start with that? I personally think after his depression in 1981 and before some Godly experiences which resulted in some music in the 80s.
I'd love to hear some insights from you!

Prince had "cat-naps". "Whatever skin we're in
we all need 2 b friends" | |

I think it started around the Lovesexy era and ended during the time he married Mayte. [Edited 12/19/24 23:33pm]

Prince? Meditation? Sex & lust you mean... "The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves. And wiser people so full of doubts." (Bertrand Russell 1872-1972)

Not to be argumentative but with Mayte he did that. We also have pictures of him meditating during those years.

You really didn't know this man at all, did you.

I didn't know he had a depression in 1981. Would you expand on that please?
Prince had a very evolved soul.

I meant that he stopped around the time they lost their child. Mayte said that he wouldn't hypnotize her anymore and no longer believed in new age stuff so I figured he also stopped meditating.

Absolutley exactly. I never met him or talked to him. He never invited me, I never dined with him or shared a glass. Did you? Where is your sense of humour. - But, correction on my behalf, he apparently had a meditation room in PP, I just read that. I didn't know. Let's hope he used it.
