Not that many, at least that we're aware of. Outside of the album itself and the b-sides, most of what Prince recorded during that periord between PR and ATWIAD was for protege albums. Between that and the PR tour, he didn't have time to record an abundance of ideas like he would in the next few years.

I guess they're afrraid of any promises made by now.

Some say they (LLC, etc) don't have to communicate, but I disagree.

They promised all sorts of things and failed to deliver, with no clear words.

Unclear personal tweets don't count.

And, frankly, if they will now officially release that Symbol SDE (from the Diamonds & Love compilation chopped in half) next year.... Plus that this will then be the only thing we can expect (unreleased music released wise), it will be again a poor year.

One could step up the releases, why not! We're all old enough and have bursting wallets.
I myself am convinced there will be more worldly attention for a better approach regarding Parade of Dirty Mind or ATWIAD SDE reissues. But that's me thinking... I'm not an expert.
It could, of course, still be for a special but this time fully age-processed SDE of Purple Rain (again), with no errors, no incompleteness, with much more depth.

His greatest album of all time, remains an important (incomplete) document in msuic history.

If only because Prince was that young black artist, who had hoisted himself all the way to the top with a record and film, worldwide.
(And that they just leave out this shit of postcards and posters and badges, and fake backstage passes or stickers, We're not 18 anymore. In my not-so humble opinion, of course. )

I hear you, but, although I love the "Love Symbol" album, it's not about what we want or not. It's just that the material for the "Diamonds & Love" set was ready to go, so the "Love Symbol" SDE is probably "easy to release" in that sense. They just need to remove the video that was going to be included (Rex 1993), because of the current legal problems.
