Just to make things perfectly clear, I'm NOT asking you where to look for them. I'm NOT asking you to provide a source for all these leaks. But I have seen similar comments from you in the past and maybe others on here putting the blame on others for "not knowing where to look". Rather than playing the "I know something you don't know" game wouldn't you feel better if you shared this knowledge with the 95% of us who don't know where to look? Again though, I'm NOT asking you to give us this information. And I don't mean to come across as if I'm chastising you in any way. Your secrets are your own and all that. I'm just genuinely curious as to why some fans try to gatekeep this stuff.

. A leak is a leak when the content is shared with general public. A "secret leak" is not a leak. Sometimes it is a fake.

Wow. Who pissed on your chips and told you it was vinegar? Relax. I'm only asking a question. No need to bite my head off. I'm merely pointing out that you and others on here like to talk down to others for "not knowing where to look". This place might be a lot more welcoming if people were a little nicer to each other and actually helped others out instead. And there's no need to get so defensive. I wasn't directing it purely at you. In fact, I'm directing it more to the people who do have access to this stuff. So apologies if you felt I was attacking you in some way.

And this is where the estate falls down big time... Making fans so desperate for new leaks of stuff that they get upset with each other... While the fan numbers are dropping off like flies. Prince's music deserves better. "Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything." --Plato

But, in the end we have nothing. No leaks, no wide spread leaks. No sharing leaks. Noting. Back to zero. - If someone has a leaked song, that person can easily share it anonimously from any made up email address, from a public computer, or whatever. Safe even. It's all about greed if you ask me. I feel here mostly, the older we get, the more intolerant and selfish we become. In other words; conservative, suspicious and distrustful, preferably not allowing anyone else anything. - The Estate problems are serious, and choke us as fans. But still as a community we're n,ot even capable of doing something 'altogether' to make it clear we don't agree with what The Estate does. Instead, we all moan separately and over each other. We have lost the energy of being young, being impulsive and daring. We lost the entrepreneurial fight against something like The Estate as a group, to try to achieve something. (I tried it once, but the responses were cold.) We don't thrive on principles and beliefs anymore. That's all gone. It is what it is. We sit on our fat asses behind our computers, longing for something we actually really don't care all that much for, but just come here to vent our 'old ideas'. IMHO. I'm not even better than anyone of us. And, it's funny because it's sad. "The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves. And wiser people so full of doubts." (Bertrand Russell 1872-1972)

. I don't know if you realize that you're talking like a fifteen-year-old stuck in the nineties. "They don't know where to look on the internet"? Boy, I've been online since 1988, when the internet was still in its infancy. You're not talking to kids. It's not about "not knowing how to look" but about people who don't circulate material and don't have the good taste to keep quiet, but - evidently - brag about it. If it's a leak, a real leak, then you circulate it. The purpose of the leak is to make public something that was previously hidden or private. If instead you have your own private copy and you hide it and don't circulate it, well, you might as well get buried with it.

@JorisE73 You have nothing to bring to the Prince.org community except lies and ego-driven fantasies. I suggest you take your frustration elsewhere and stop spreading unnecessary rumors about things that are clearly out of your control. [Edited 1/8/25 15:43pm]

[Edited 1/8/25 15:43pm] Joris has been a good source of info, he is a longtime fan with connections. We need people like him around. [Edited 1/8/25 17:04pm]

I understand why people are frustrated, but Joris is indeed someone who has provided a lot of verifiable and interesting info to fan groups where we would otherwise have nothing...

"I don't talk down to people". Then proceeds to talk down to people I even said I wasn't directing my comments at you specifically. Rather, the people who actually have access to this stuff and choose not to share it. And you even said yourself that you don't have access so you should know that I wasn't referring to you personally. And I have no earthly idea who Bart is so I can't say he's taught me anything. So you seem to be getting all worked up over nothing. Like, relax. It's not that big of a deal. Peace. But on a side note, it's kind of cool that you remember Emma. Weird that you think we're the same person but I reckon you're definitely not alone in that assumption. I blame myself for choosing a similar username. But hey, can't change it now.

I thought that, too, when you first showed up! Your opinions (and perfect grammar) are always welcome The three officially released "b-sides" from the Musicology era were the only songs i actually legally downloaded. The rest mentioned are still not in my posession, but listened to once or twice. It's just not as exciting anymore. Getting that 7th generation 'Parade Outs' cassette in the mail was everything back in the day!!! "Whatever skin we're in

We agree it's not a big deal then Apologies if you felt "attacked". That was not my intention. I can categorically say that I'm not, and never have been, on Discord. For anything. Let alone Prince stuff. I had briefly considered joining a Kingdom Hearts Discord thing a few years ago but the whole process confused the fuck out of me so I didn't bother. And I'm 99% sure Emma isn't on Discord either because that would break her whole "no socials" rule. So if there's somebody on Discord impersonating me (or her) then that's more than a little concerning. And creepy. Would you be able to link them for me so I can have a look? Cheers.

I could not agree more. I'm convinced we all have so much unreleased (live) material, even unreleased video, we've never fully enjoyed. I speak for myself, i have a hard drive full of live material i still have to discover. I'm not a great live music lover, prefer studio stuff, but still, I'd like to have more time to go through it.
