Whenever I see used Prince CDs at the Wrecka Stow

I have to sometimes keep myslef from purchasing used Prince albums at the record store. I'm talking about titles I already have in various formats. Like in my mind, I might need extra copies for some reason. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME? eek

We run tings, tings nah run we....

Yep.

I know the feeling exactly!
It even feels like a kind of failure to find them there, like they don't belong in a bargain crate :-O
I've already bought a few. Actually to replace the worn and grey-turned ones.

Being a Prince music lover is a strange situation sometimes, to the point of absurdity. wink

I do this too!

Started in the 90s, when I bought some cds from 1-800-NEWFUNK. Single copies of Goldn*gga, Jacob Armen etc.. Noticed after a while that these became collectible pretty soon, and so with subsequent releases I started buying at least two copies.
Also, when I was still hunting cd shops regularly, sometimes a rare used cd popped up for a nice price, like the Jill Jones album. Have about 5 copies of that cd now.
Even this afternoon, with a rare visit to the local record store, I could not resist buying the Crystal Ball 4 cd box from 1998, for just under 10 euro, in near mint condition. Third or fourth copy of that one in my collection.

Don't know why I do it... it is just to not get regret of not buying it probably....

biggrin

I get copies at birthdays, or as a Xmas present... friends think I probably don't have this particular one.

I fake the uniqueness of their heartwarming gift with great applause, happy somehow to have it anyways.

I think I have seven copies of Lovesexy on vinyl? wink With one rare Russian Bootleg vinyl; Lovesexy side one only, and on the other side half a Madonna Album, not indicated.
