Other artists who uses the Camille voice

What other artist or songs that uses the Camille voice? Anyone wanna chime in?
I know that Stevie Wonder did one one before Prince did called Maybe Your Baby.
There was another song that I don't know what the name of it is because I only heard a very small snippet. Something in the way of "baby don't hide your personality". Something like that. They either said personality or punctuality. Anyways I don't know who the artist is.

The Beatles certainly played around wihich pitch/speed variation on vocals

George Clinton on many Parliament/Funkadelic tracks
Roger Troutman?

Sly & The Family Stone - "If You Want Me To Stay" and a few others that slip my mind

Newcleus - "Jam On It" and "Jam On It Revenge" (method was used at its extreme settings)

George Clinton - "Paradigm" (with P)

George Michael - "I Want Your Sex" and "Hard Day", also used on some of his background vocals on various songs.

Quite a few others, including The Beatles

If you want me to stay? Nothing to do with Camille AT all.

But "Best Of Friends" and "Smurfs All-Star Show" were the better albums, IMO. 😂

Here we go again...there is no 'Camille' voice. Prince used it ,high, medium and low register. It's a character, not a speeded up voice.

It's a character associated with Prince songs where he sped up his recorded vocal tracks, so it's kinda both.

Prince was hardly the first. The Chipmunks come to mind.

Ross Bagdasarian's pre-Chipmunks track "Witch Doctor" (1958), attributed to Dave Seville solo, was actually the first pitch-shifted vox track.

He now says it's completely uninspired by Prince in any shape or form.

Between that and straight jacking Dilla's style, kind of over Madlib.
