Other artists who uses the Camille voice What other artist or songs that uses the Camille voice? Anyone wanna chime in?
I know that Stevie Wonder did one one before Prince did called Maybe Your Baby. There was another song that I don't know what the name of it is because I only heard a very small snippet. Something in the way of "baby don't hide your personality". Something like that. They either said personality or punctuality. Anyways I don't know who the artist is. [Edited 10/25/24 8:16am]

Sly & The Family Stone - "If You Want Me To Stay" and a few others that slip my mind Newcleus - "Jam On It" and "Jam On It Revenge" (method was used at its extreme settings) George Clinton - "Paradigm" (with P) George Michael - "I Want Your Sex" and "Hard Day", also used on some of his background vocals on various songs.
Quite a few others, including The Beatles

Here we go again...there is no 'Camille' voice. Prince used it ,high, medium and low register. It's a character, not a speeded up voice. [Edited 11/1/24 19:07pm] .

Prince was hardly the first. The Chipmunks come to mind.

He now says it's completely uninspired by Prince in any shape or form.
Between that and straight jacking Dilla's style, kind of over Madlib. [Edited 11/7/24 10:42am]
