This is why I don't trust AI to summarize and article for me. The above summary missed the thrust of the article.

Beam says he couldn't tell if Edleman has a specific angle or story about Prince he was trying to tell, but Bream could tell that Eldeman was hoping Bream would provide a lot of emotion in the interview. For example, Edleman was hoping Bream would be wowwed by seeing old footage of him with Prince. And Eldeman was hoping Bream would be angry when reminded of the times Prince dissed him. But Bream was very stoic in the interview and had little to no reaction for any of these things.

That was the primary story Bream tried to tell in his blog, but you'd never get that from the summary.

The assumption (and I think it's a fair one) is that most people would click the link and read the actual article. Since it's from someone who's written about Prince for decades.

He's also right. His stories are his to tell. Why would he give everything to Edleman in an unpaid interview so that he (Edleman) gets the acclaim/awards/money for Breams content (content isn't the right word it seems reductive, but you know what I mean). Bream could write (another) book or work with others on a documentary of his own.
