Upon reading this post, my assumption was that it was a third-party seller trying to do something shady. But then I followed the link and saw the listing says new versions of this product are sold by Amazon itself. That's strange. (Used versions can be bought from a third-party seller called 'Anti-Social Seller Club'.)
