Stevie Wonder - Cold Chill (Prince Version)
talking about this song on another thread, I noticed that there were a few people who weren't aware of this one being officially released.
so if you haven't heard it yet, check it out, it's on streaming (and has been since years but it was new to me too, a few months ago when I discovered it).
great funky song by stevie and a great mix by prince with some very chill guitar work.
a nice song to play today, to celebrate prince's birthday

It was also released in full in '95 on the Polydor sampler CD.

It isn't even that version on the Polydor promo CD or tape. |

This is a remix version...
But prankin' Prince is deffinately to be heard in the last few seconds of this remix version.
What's he saying?
And his guitar solo is absolutely off the hook!!!
Very cool and super funky. "The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves. And wiser people so full of doubts" (Bertrand Russell 1872-1972) |

Lil'poundCake, thank you very much for the the links
Now, to be honestly honest, this is the closest anyone will get to a MJ/Prince collaboration, even though it's a Stevie Wonder song. "Whatever skin we're in
we all need 2 b friends" |

The streaming version is the Prince remix.
But the version on the Polydor Brighton Conference promo isn't, despite being described as such on the sleeve. |
