My 2 cents > 2 much expectations from the current Estate which cannot quench our thirst for new music because they have so far no clear vision to give of Prince's musical legacy. The previous box was 95% planned and structured by the previous team during the Howe era!

Except they cut it down. About half of the original project was removed as we know it.

Yeah, they smelled something,

if you cut the work that others had already done, in half,

you can make TWO SDE's out of 1...

And if you cut that even once more in half,

you Get 4 SDE's, etc...

Before you know it,

we have hundreds of SDE with one song on it!

Don't say it too loud,

don't give them any ideas.

This is the era im most interested in really. Its underrated in many ways. And less known, to me at least, as far as bootlegs.

This is also by far my most beloved era.
Because he was so young and much less religiously driven in his lyrics.

His deepest sexual fantasies turned into fantastic danceable music, still enjoyable to this day.

And foremost the textual exploration of everything we all love about his sexual fanties.
He wa his younger years was such a fiercely driven, and daring artist.

Scrupulously went full on about sex and gender, all that there is to explore.

After this period, imho, it became a bit more mainstream, with at most a masturbating girl with a magazine, wink Which still is an amazing daring good song.
Think of songs like Sister, Neurotic Lover's Bedroom, Soft and Wet, Lady Cab Driver, Lust U Always, etc, damn... if there is more like that in the vault, it would be surprisingly and positively shocking for all of us. And most rewarding i think. Regarding never heard unreleased stuff...

I can dream can I... wink

i know whats out there, but i think i always wanted to leave something uninvestigated for later, otherwise theres nothing left to uncover, but i might be done waiting!
