Absolutely!The Line is pure joy. It fills me with so much energy.

Great little trowaway track, great baseline, great warm synths, and would've been perfect as opener for side 2 of Lovesexy. That great chorus with much chord changes.

We really need a clear studio version of this one. At least I do.

I once made a slowed down version of it, to enjoy it 'longer'.

It's a bit 'busy'. I have the same issue with a lot of Sheila E tracks too. There's just too much going on too quickly, and it just gets a bit much. It's like being in a room full of extroverts and everyone's fighting for attention.

An edited version (with the full length as a 12" version) would probably have been easier of the ears.

I remember hearing it for the first time on a bootleg I got in the early 90s, hated it then, decades later, still hate it.

I fully agree.

Imagine a Dolby Atmos of all those tracks. Discovering new unheard sounds, production, arrangements...

I can dream about this all day and night.
