May I Introduce My Sex To Yours?

I thought it was funny PrinceVault removed that "found in the CD collection of a former band member" source from that LotusFlower page after the org thread that pointed it out, so I thought I'd post something here also that I was unaware of and sounds really cool.

May I Introduce My Sex To Yours? is an unreleased track likely recorded in 1983 at Prince’s Kiowa Trail Home Studio in Chanhassen, Minnesota, USA. The track was recorded with Vanity and Jill Jones but it is not known if it was seriously considered for possible use on Vanity 6sophomore album.

The track was discussed by Jill Jones in an interview in 2021:
"We had another song called May I Introduce My Sex To Yours?, but nobody seems to know where this song is with all this stuff. It had a lot of breathings on it, which was like "huh huh!". It was a really cool freaking song and he didn’t want that to come out at all. Ever! I thought there must be a bad memory associated with that or whatever that is about. I’ve asked often about, even with the Estate and they don’t know which one I’m talking about. It could have been around Moral Majority."

Nothing else is known about that song.

Could this be the same as the unreleased "My Sex?" I looked at both entries and they are from the same time.

hmmm yeah I think it's probably the same song

My Sex is an unreleased song initially likely recorded somewhere in 1983, likely at the Kiowa Trail Home Studio in Chanhassen, Minnesota).

The song was worked on by Wendy & Lisa in June 1985. And in Augusat 1985, Jill Jones rrecored a lerad vocal on it in New York, for possible inclusion on her Jill Jones album. At one point was considered to be the title track, as Jill Jones thought it encompassed the album’s theme, but the song was ultimately not included as it was not considered to be strong enough. I was thinkin trhe same thing yes, and if it is the same then it is in the hands of some outside of the Estate. Because it was aired to some back when 1999 SDE was being worked on.

I love anything JJ, so I hope we eventually get it. There was hope after I read somewhere about an potential expanded edition of her album.

It's impossible for the estate not to be aware of how loved the album is.

COuldn't agree more.

That would be sweet. Even just a basic remaster of the album plus the 12" versions and that B-Side on CD would be sweet. But I'm afraid we'll see thousands of apparel lines on sale for no reason before that.
