You don't compare these guys....one is like an Olympian and the other is a Painter. Not good, not bad....different.

It's a funny line. But Prince was rarely so confrontational as to use someone's name when he was being shady... At least publicly. If this was said in passing to an engineer or such I could believe that. But if so it was likely said in humour, and not as a critical appraisal of Eddie's skills. | |

I know this is a Prince fan forum site, but some comments are unbelievable. Eddie Van Halen was a guitar genius and probably the most innovative after Hendrix. You may prefer Prince as a guitar player, but EVH wasnt only a shredder. He had so much musicianship, killer rock rhythm guitar and amazing sound. | |
