That "BD-66" suggests the 4K UHD disc contains only the movie. If the enclosed Blu-ray is merely a repeat of the previous 2016 release, it might very well be possible we're not getting any new extras.

German, French, Italian etc blu rays have their own packaging in hteir respective langiage. but the disc itself is the same.

4K blu rays normally contain the feature film only. All extras are on a seperate (regular) blu ray disc.

By the way, the listing on jpc.de has disappeared, guess they published it too early.

Several French listings appeared today. All announce a (possibly limited edition) Steelbook release on 26 June.

Having said that, it would be pretty cool if they added a "new" live Purple Rain-era concert/even concert footage with various Prince artists during the period to the package. Then, SOLD!

I guess it's just the same as the 20 anniversary 2 DVD set but in 4K (the extras disc are probably the same quality as the 2 DVD set)

Such BS. No, the extras are spread over the two discs, whereas in the past they all fit on the Blu-ray. "Crammed"? A UHD can be up to 100 GB. Since these extras were produced in SD, they cannot be reencoded to 1080/i, they need to be upscaled.

Don't know if I will buy this one or wait for the inevitab;e 8K or how ever much 'K' in a few years with still no extra probably
For the last year we read of 'newly' unearthed really interesting stuff (for us regular fans at least) that could be dropped as a extras on a Purple Rain 4K Bluray.
I hoped that stuff would have been included on the 4K release when it was mentioned back in fbebruary it was worked on by WB.
