Certainly hoping for some additional "extras". Otherwise, not buying this for the [approximately] 5th time. No thanks. I'll save my money for the SDE's.

Having said that, it would be pretty cool if they added a "new" live Purple Rain-era concert/even concert footage with various Prince artists during the period to the package. Then, SOLD!

I guess it's just the same as the 20 anniversary 2 DVD set but in 4K (the extras disc are probably the same quality as the 2 DVD set)

They could've at least put the performance from the premiere party on here. They performed 17 Days, Irresistible Bitch, and When Doves Cry.
Also, some of the rehearsal footage that was in the posthumous videos for Nothing Compares 2 U and Manic Monday would've been a nice addition.

The extras are on their own BD and not crammed to the UHD so that makes me hopeful that everything was at LEAST reencoded from their sources to 1080p/i. Music videos may be restored since those are mostly sourced from the film (shot on 35mm).

Such BS. No, the extras are spread over the two discs, whereas in the past they all fit on the Blu-ray. "Crammed"? A UHD can be up to 100 GB. Since these extras were produced in SD, they cannot be reencoded to 1080/i, they need to be upscaled.
