Big words from the man who announced the estate would re-release Chaka Khan's Come 2 My House by the end of 2023, which of course they failed to do. . Also, they've managed one vinyl re-release since the release of D&P, and I bet that re-release was prepared by the previous regime. Then again, I bet much of the work of the PR SDE was done by the previous regime as well. |

I have to laugh at the "makemillions" part. If they really wanted to make millions they'd put together a coherent plan for getting out as many vault releases as they can. And maybe inform the fans (aka the ones they are trying to sell stuff to) in on those plans. And as a goodwill gesture how about releasing those songs that were played at the Celebration thingy last year so that those of us for whom it's not feasible to travel halfway around the world can actually hear them and maybe even have an opportunity to buy them. |

In all honesty, does the anniversary thingy actually means that much to you, either as a fan, casual-fan, or whatever side of the spectrum do you place at? I'm genuinely asking with all respect. I just don't get the hype for the anniversary re-releases, either plain or SDE or whatever. I thirst for anything new, even more at this output rate.
