Prince albums that have anniversaries this year Purple Rain isn't the only Prince album (and the movie) that has an anniversary this year, there are other albums too. and here they are:
Prince (1979) 45th Anniversary
Purple Rain Soundtrack (and movie) (1984) 40th Anniversary
Batman Soundtrack (1989) 35th Anniversary
Musicology (2004) 20th Aniiversary

The implicit assumption here is that when people talk about anniversaries, they mean "important" anniversaries, whatever that means, usually a multiple of 10 years, or at least 5 years. |

And don’t forget it is the 10 year anniversaries for both “Art Official Age” and “Plectrum Electrum”, so why not a super deluxe of each…highly unlikely! There may or may not be something coming! |

. an anniversary is a annual marking of time. happens yearly. an "important" annivesary is an imaginary idea that 10 years is somehow more important than 11. assuming things get people nowhere. Using actual words to convey the meaning of something tends to make things clear.
