my dream factory/emancipation double LP

hey everyone. i wanted to post my fan reimagining of both the scrapped 1984 purple rain sequel dream factory and 1998's triple album emancipation. i'm attempting to combine both records in a cohesive narrative that also sort of serves as both a prequel to "under the cherry moon" and a sequel to the "purple rain" film while also creating new characters.

here it is, please give me any feedback you have. i really think this could've been a hit if he released it.

01 - The Ballad of Dorothy Parker
02 - Get Yo Groove On
03 - Schoolyard
04 - Electronic Intercourse (Studio Version From Purple Rain Deluxe)
05 - Lisa's Song (Visions Color)
06 - A Place In Face Down (Mash Up by yours truly of Face Down and a Place In Heaven)
07 - Sign o' The Times
08 - Blanche
09 - Come On (remix acapella)
10 - Schoolyard (Reprise - 4 minute bootleg edit)

DISC 2:

01 - Purple Rain (live version with all the verses)
02 - Peach (I took out all the instrumentation and just left the moans)
03 - Dream Factory
04 - 3121 (i know this is way later than dream factory/emanciapation but it rocks so it's going onthe album!!!)
05 - Free Urself (same here!!!)
06 - Sex In The Summer
07 - Jam of the Year
08 - Twin Peaks Theme Song (Not prince, but it's crucial to the flow of the album so I'm keeping it here)
09 - Crucial (sax version)
10 - Bloody Mouth (you guys won't be able to have this on the album, it's kind of an elite collector thing, but trust me it is CRITICAL for the whole flow.)
11 - Crystal Ball + It's Gonna Be a Beautiful Night + International Lover + Partyup + Temptation + All The Midnights In The World (mega mashup of all these songs. I kind of wanted a "closer" vibe here so i just took a bunch of closers and mashed them together. it clocks in at 40 minutes and it's a spectacular close to this album)

so there it is! let me know how this flows.

I’ve often wondered whether Dream Factory and Emancipation could combined and then slimmed down to a single disc. A single 7” record. In line with current estate policy, it would also be single-sided (with an etching by/of Charles Spicer on the flip.

The Emancipation Factory.
Should be one long megamix.
But really it should include 3121 songs too.
86, 96, 06.
Prince was into threes.
More than he was into twos.

Agreed. To cover from Purple Rain to Emancipation as a lost album. Nope.

Why not 85 to 95?
Imagine going from p control to paisley park?! Or endorphin machine to raspberry beret?!
Or 81 to 91?
Do me baby to insatiable?! Annie Christian to jughead?! Get stoopid...

When you think about how it liberates you from listening to so much Prince music, it’s actually a huge timesaver.

prince liked twin peaks IIRC so this is ok.

more prince albums should have theme songs from shows or films he liked i think to make it more like a document of his life at the time.
