I was clearing out some old stuff the other day and I came across a box of nine original VHS boxes of old Prince video releases including The Undertaker, 3 chains o' gold video collection and, Gett Off.

Only one of the 5 tracks on the Gett Off felease is NOT included on the recent D&P Super Deluxe release. That is 'Clockin' the Jizz' which I fondly remember back on the day.

Anyone have a theory about why Clockin the Jizz was excluded from the D&P super deluxe?

I figured it wasn't included because it was mostly instrumental compared to "Gangsta Glam."

It does feel stunted to not include it, but not every song ont he Cream EP was included either.
Quite frankly, I don't need the faded version of "Thunder" or whatever is on there, plus those stupid edits. Who fucking cares.

It took me a while to figure out it was Sonny v Sonny. Very bizarre.

You can understand in a way not including all the Gett Off and Do Your Dance mixes but I'd have included Clockin' The Jizz and the Ethereal Mix from the Cream single. Those 2 are like new/diffferent tracks

Sonny T was dark, funny, and the complete oposite of our religious Prince.

Listen to some the skits between the tracks on Exodus, where he shoots a TV.

I feel like I need to step in at this point and express my dismay that my namesake track was excluded.

So in Gett Off, Prince sings 'I clocked the jizz from a friend of yours named Vanessa Bett. She said you told her a fantasy that got her all wet.'

So I always figured that was Prince basically saying 'I got the 'sex news' about you from Vanessa'.

Maybe he shoulda called the instrumental 'Getting The Sex News'

Also ridiculous and - almost - criminal that it wasn't included on the SDE, particularly as it flows so seamlessly out of Gangsta Glam, and is such a good track!
