Are there covers of (then) unreleased songs?

Do you know any covers of (then) unreleased songs. Are there artist who dared to release a version. Album or maybe only live.

I can't remember who it was, but back in the late 2000s, someone did a cover of Extraloveable, with some hot chicks frolicking in the shower in the music video.

Illegal Aliens cover "Ratrace" (In A Large Room With No Light) in 2000.

Also Wil Key did the same using the title Welcome 2 The Rat Race in 2009

Don't recall seeing that video, but around the time Chck Chck Chck (aka !!!) performed Extraloveable regularly at their gigs.

He played "R U Legal Yet?" and "A Girl And Her Puppy" as well, but they were never officially released.

All those songs were given to Miles by Prince, though.

Nobody mentioned that complete remake of 'the black album'.

I heard about it in the late 80's, but never actually heard it.

Some non-U.S. band/musicians?

Oh, yes, I completely forgot about it. I probably only listened to it once.

Had fun with that one in a recordstore in Juan le Pins in 1990 when the owner played this for me as the black album and I gave him a tape from the original from my walkman.

Nero did an excellent dreamwave cover of Electric Intercourse back in 2012.
