There's a few videos not on his channel. Purple Rain being the strangest omission. But the one that kind of annoys me most is The One. Absolutely his best Mayte collab. Her choreography in that is artistic and classy. Way better than the early 90s choreography where she's dressed like a 14 year old and doing crotch grabs.

Even the videos the Estate officially uploads are bad quality. "Te Amo Corazon" used to be available in 1080p HD from a fan account. The Estate deleted it and replaced it with their 240p VCD Windows 95 quality version.

This is so bizarre. I'm certain that it was on his YT at some point. I just searched it again, and it's not there. Nor is it on the Warner or Rhino YT channels, mind U, I remember there being some emails from YT over the past year or so where they indicated that they were going 2 streamline official artists' channels. Perhaps some videos were dropped accidentally or intentionally with that process. The posthumous official collage video of "Pink Cashmere" is still up. Or maybe there is something about the "Peach" video, like a lawsuit claiming someone in it wasn't paid, that required it 2 come down.

I've been looking for Peach on YouTube for years now, and all in vain.

2 Whom It May Concern was recently removed due to copyright claims.

The Estate should have ALL of Prince's videos on their YouTube channel.

It was posted by someone who didn't have the rights to it, so The Estate (I assume) had it taken down.

It's a commercial, and noted as such, so that could be why it's not out there by the estate.

the song kind of makes me sad....the Kim Basinger connnection aside... I always like think it was more about Mayte. When he says "I'd be a fool to think she could love me..." but from what I know she always loved him...I think the lose of the babies was too much for them.

The way this ownership stuff is contested between stakeholders often leads to crazy outcomes where material is unavailable officially. I had hoped that when the estate issued the Hits one and two last year we might have seen Peach appear on the official Prince channel, but im guessing this is being blocked by Warner music still!

Even more ludicrous is Purple Rain as posted by the CODfather is still the only place to find it on Youtube although I`m pretty sure the revenue generated is now headed somewhere like Warner film or music.

In the mean time we scratch around downloading fanmade and for profit Bootlegs to obtain stuff that has been officially released in Prince`s lifetime and should surely form part of his core catalogue.

It is 2023, and the best compilation album in the highest quality is still T`s 12 inches! It really is hilarious when you think about it.
