What a great read! Well written, and shines a warm light on everybody. Certainly not what we heard back then. Great to have it straight. Makes me want to listen to 3121 while looking at the album art.

I'm skeptical of the part that says:

"My mother had gone to one of his concerts during the ’80s, and when Prince gyrated away from the crowd, he revealed his other set of cheeks hanging out of his pants."

He never wore ass-less pants in concert, did he? I think he's conflating the 1991 MTV Awards performance with his mother's concert experience.

He wore lacey pants that were see through in the back in the 80s.

If youve seen the concert videos in 1981 at The Ritz in N.Y. his ass cheeks are clearly exposed everytime he turns his back to the crowd...especially obvious while he performs "Head"

It wasnt assless pants...he was wearing tiny little briefs (almost bikini panties) with his cheeks clearly exposed...the videos were still on youtube last time i checked...you can hear the women screaming everytime he turns around.

That threw me off too...Boozer's first year in Utah (after which he rented the crib to P) was 2004-2005...John L. Nelson died in 2001...so, the math aint mathing...

The seamstress who created the outfit has said that his butt was covered by flesh toned fabric.

Having read the article, which sounds a great story, I’d agree there seems to be some inconsistencies/mis-remembering on timelines. Prince rented it from basketball player Charles Boozer from September 2005 until May 2006.

Prior to that he’d had the original 3121 house from October 2004 until September 2005 from Barbi Benton.

Given the September 2005 to May 2006 period Prince was at Charles’ house and the details in the article about ringing P up to say he’d have to sue him but P being in Asia, embarking on a World Tour, I’m not sure about that too - doesn’t seem to have been any dates for tours or one off performances in Asia around that time.

Yup. I caught that, too. That's not true. The dates are off, the amounts are off, his father was already dead.

It's like Boozer's Prince story is the only interesting thing in his life.
